Purpose:
To review the appropriated budget and provide preliminary review of
financial elements before they are presented to Council. To review
matters related to employees, workers’ compensation, benefits, and
retirement.
SAFETY
Members: **James Piatt (Safety Forces), Rickie Parker, James
Williams
Purpose:
To assure that residents are receiving maximum police protection and to
evaluate new policies and procedures for protective services.
UTILITIES
Members: **James Williams (Lights), Jerry Olack, Rickie Parker
Purpose:
To review the operations of the wastewater treatment, distribution and
collection systems and to make recommendations to Council regarding
any utility-related policies and procedures. Reviews storm sewer
projects.
ORDINANCES & RESOLUTIONS
Members: **Rickie Parker, William Marinacci, James Piatt
Purpose:
To review proposed ordinances and resolutions. To review existing
ordinances and to make recommendations to appropriate committees
for amendments and/or updating.
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
Members: **William Marinacci(Public Relations), Troy Johnson (Rep. to
Enterprise & School Advisory), James Piatt(Rep. to Chamber & Planning
Committee)
Purpose:
To guide the Village in development and support of viable corporate
business base and relations. To review programs developed by the
administrative and financial staff. To serve as a liason between the
Village and businesses and other organizations.
STREETS & PROPERTY
Members: **Jerry Olack (Public Grounds, Streets, Alleys & Sewer),
Rickie Parker
(Railroads, Bridges & Recreation), William Marinacci (Annexation &
Leasing)
Purpose:
To review annual street reconstruction programs, recommends streets
to be surfaced and sealed, reviews sidewalk program.
