As of October 1st, 2009 the following procedures will go into effect: If a customer requests a meter check, reread, or removal/reinstallation, and it is determined by the water plant superintendent, meter reader, service department foreman, or any other qualified water crew member that the meter was in fact in good working condition, operable and registering valid readings, then the customer shall bear the cost of $25.00. If any additional work is required more fees will be incurred. Neglect of meters will be the customers responsibility and will be charged accordingly |
